  • Development Manager

    We are a technology Czech-based company, aiming to deliver and build a portfolio of innovative systems for processing and analysing new era of big data collected from intelligent smart grids. We develop systems using AI to solve problems for key players on the energy market. We have a world-class engineering and mathematical team developing machine learning models and embedded them into systems.

    About you:

    You are a champion, Development Team Leader with being highly technical and soft-skill capable. You have a track record in software development combined with the leadership of software development teams and you know how to deliver projects within a software development environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Line management and personal development of a team of highly skilled developers
    • Manage the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
    • Define deliverables of the project including tasks, sub-tasks, and milestones
    • Provide effective regular progress updates and work closely with Project Managers
    • Support project resource scheduling and department capacity planning

    What we’re building:

    You must have:

    • Strong Java skills, experience with using SCM tools (e.g.GIT)

    About you:

    Do you have proven experience as a QA tester or similar role? Are you skilled in manual or automated testing? Can you evaluate product code according to specifications design? Do you know what Sonar, Nexus, Jenkins is? Are you creative, passionate about quality and looking for an inspirational smaller team in a young software company?

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and analyse system specifications
    • Execute test scripts and reviewing results
    • Improve and develop automation of GUI testing
    • Define testing methodology for how UAT (user acceptance tests) will work
    • Run automated test scripts for complex environments
    • Report and document technical issues
    • Provide effective regular progress updates and work closely with Project Managers
    • Support project resource scheduling and department capacity planning
