Pyramid solutions
Initial state
Information systems produce plenty of available data (blue base of the pyramid).
If there is enough time and resources to deal with the data manually and think over (green pyramid over the head) something substantial, necessary to respond, can be figured out.
Usually, however, regular and effective data analyses are costly and practically impossible. The data are unexpoited and appropriate actions do not happen.
CEP Implementation
Implementation of the CEP solution is a gradual process in which we increase the blue base of the pyramid and thus we reduce the amount of data to be examine by a human.
Keeping in mind the actions that should follow after finding the facts, we gradually automate parts of the green pyramid - the human work and thought (marked in red).
Thanks to it we reduce the demands on a person who must decide whether the data contain something needed to react and respond to.
Target state
CEP solution is tuned: the blue base of the pyramid is maximized, the green pyramid is minimized. The resulting solution provides information in a form suitable for a direct reaction to reported events or situation.
Efficient usage of available data is no longer a luxury that is not usually affordable, and becomes commonplace.

Four steps how to effectively use your data
- Benefits identification: We will propose a CEP solution for your environment. The outcome is a framework proposal specifying what benefits the CEP solution can gain and how difficult it would be to deploy the solution in your environment. If the benefits make the CEP solution interesting, next step can continue.
- Scope definition: We will define a scope of the CEP implememtation in your environment, including a detailed plan. The plan is focused on reaching the most important benefits as soon as possible and gradual improvement of the solution to achieve all expected benefits. This approach will allow you to evaluate the usefulness of implemented solution very quickly. On the basis of results achieved, you can modify the scope of implementation and its timeline.
- Deployment: In successive iterations, we deploy the CEP solution, integrate it into your environment, and thus realize the expected benefits.
- Production: The CEP solution is used and continuously improved according to your developing needs.
