BuildingScope project

Goal of the BuildingScope project is to help optimizing the operations of a Building Management System.

To achieve this, BuildingScope detects suspicious patterns in data collected and archived by Trend Logs of the Building Management System. BuildingScope uses the MM CEP Platform to detect predefined undesireable behavior, e.g.

• concurrent heating and cooling
• turning devices on and off too frequently
• leaking of valves
• outages of Trend Logs

BuildingScope is beeing developed in cooperation with the Institute of Computer Science, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. At Masaryk University it helps to optimize operations of the Building Management System at the newly built University Campus with dozens of buildings.
