====== SOLUTIONS: Digital Libraries and Community Networks ======
Digital libraries (enterprise or institution knowledge bases) contain a wide range of specific forms of external domain information such as books, scientific papers, multimedia etc. \\ \\ In addition, institutional information space involves related internal information sources about activities done by the institution itself, such as information about projects and people working on them. All information sources together create complex networks, but the view of the whole connected by relations is lacking.\\ \\




**The solution using the Mycroft technologies aims to:**
   * provide useful views of institutional information space
   * connect external and internal information sources to provide comprehensive view of both of them
   * help to monitor and evaluate the usage of institutional information sources
   * find and recognize patterns in information space
   * use advanced visualization methods (dynamic mind maps, graphs, nested visualization elements)\\
These concepts are being developed within a specific digital libraries project at Masaryk University. The project uses Mycroft technologies to create a solution which provides a comprehensive view of usage information sources at Masaryk University.
